Description
As is the Tisbury Meadow Preserve, the Ripley’s Field Preserve is a history of the glaciers: differences of up to 70 feet in elevation are found among this property’s many valleys and hills.

Uses
Nature study, hiking, picnicking, mountain-biking, horseback-riding, dog-walking (town bylaw requires leashing), hunting (with permission).

Directions
Start up the Lamberts Cove Road from its lower end (in Tisbury), turn left 0.7 miles up the road onto the John Hoft Road and left again a few hundred feet later into the preserve; trailhead and bicycle rack are located here.
