Description
Thimble Farm was long a fixture on the island, known, for its innovative hydroponic greenhouses. The land surrounding the greenhouses is flat and well-suited to farming. The land bank purchased the land’s development rights, plus a circumferential trail leading past Little Duarte’s Pond, which is a designated “special place” under the Martha’s Vineyard Commission law.
