West Tisbury Road received much land bank attention in 2001; this preserve was one of three acquisitions completed to retain the attractive quality of this important island road.

Uses
Trails have yet to be cut on the property itself; however, the Ben Toms Road is open for nature study, hiking, mountain-biking, horseback-riding, dog-walking.

Directions
Park at the Sweetened Water Preserve (property no. 42) and walk up the bicycle path to the preserve.
