Description

While livestock are aplenty in Vineyard Haven, seldom are they visible to travelers passing on the public roads. This sheep-pasture rises on the east side of the State Road and is one of the last particularly tranquil moments before northbound motorists arrive in the island’s main port town.

Access

Start at the sign, on the State Road, marking the Tisbury/West Tisbury town line; proceed down-island 0.1 mile; property is on the right.
