A cooperative acquisition between the town of Edgartown and the land bank, this land was conserved because of its superior soils — which would have been wasted by mere suburban development. Trails loop around the field and connect out to the Herring Creek Road, the Katama Road and Crocker Drive.

Park on the shoulder of the Herring Creek Road 0.9 miles past its split with the Katama Road.
